Ah-pretty shadow shots tinged with sadness. They are lovely shots. Time to start planning for next summer? Do you do Junkin'Monday every week? It sounds fun!
We hold on to every last little bit of summer we can don't we, the white curtains, the bright shadows, the warm nights...why does it have to go to Australia, they just had summer!!!
Such a pretty place to stay...if it's empty - I guess we should think of replacing your guest! I'm sure we could find some lovely junk! Enjoy your labor day!
Hello, you have the most fabulously wonderful site here and I had to leave this comment for you ! Your posts are beautifully written, creative and original too, and you have interesting pictures.
It's all perfect !
Thank you for sharing your site and best wishes....
Just spent the day at the beach...it even felt like the last day! There were more shells than I have seen in years...I felt like it was a goodbye till next year gift! ~Nancy
We share a passion for all things old, cottage and chic! After 10 years of retailing, we have closed our San Clemente store but you can find us now at our Space in Country Roads, Orange, CA (Space #135)
We are constantly shopping for vintage and antique treasures: ironstone, china, linens, accessories and small pieces of furniture that we can rescue and give a new life to, so don't be surprised to see at the Flea Market on Sundays mornings!
Thank you for visiting us,
Clara & Marcela

Our friend has left us,
shadows fill empty spaces,
the light fades away.

What a lovely blog!
I especially like the lacy-curtain shot. I'm rather partial to shadow shots of blinds, curtains, sheers, and other window photos.
