White Wednesday

Our last project involves three of our all time favorites:

Vintage furniture looking for a new life:

Paint
the cheapest, easiest and fastest way to achieve a new look

and Words
because of their inspirational power.

It's around the kitchen table that we unravel our plans, share our worries and free our dreams.
It's around the kitchen table that families are born and nourished.

No TV. No phone calls. No texting. No computers allowed.

Tonight, take a few more minutes around the kitchen table and...

Thank you Kathleen for hosting White Wednesday!

Awwww. I like that! Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, I would have cringed at painting something wood, but some things just need paint, don't they? Yours turned out lovely.

I love the way that looks. Such a great paint job. I want to go all shabby chic but HH says he loves mid century style. Hummmmmmm a room for him and a room for me???

Hi
What a great post! Love what you did to the table, it needed it but I love the message even more. It is a shame that families have gotten away from eating together, there is something truely wrong there.

I'm thinkin' that more people need to do just what you are talking about here and spend more time together around a beautiful table just like this. Some things never go out of fashion.
I love the table and the words!

Lovely - the table & the quote :)
It is so nice sometimes just to turn off everything and turn your attention on your loved ones isn't it! We hold those times dear to our hearts!

What a pretty blog! Thank you for stopping by. I love the thought of words on the furniture. I'm a believer in painting furniture, not the perfect ones, then if you want to, why no? Seen dated, ugly pieces in a new light. Keep on doing, it's good. BLessings, Marta.

I love how you left the wood tones combined with the white...fabulous! I want to use some of those words somewhere in my home. That can be my new latest project. :)
