Today was cleaning day.
Top to bottom cleaning.
Dusting.
Moping.
Scrubbing.
Washing.
and all the boring "ings" you can imagine.
Until I came across the empty bird nest my Husband found yesterday in the side yard.

It was Tuesday after all and I needed my White Wednesday post!
And just like that my entryway got a new vignette...

Very sweet little addition of that birds nest!!
What lovely whites and how fun to create a new vignette from mother nature's offerings.
Gorgeous photos. Happy WW to you. Thanks for stopping by.
How very sweet to find something charming in the every day! Love the little nests!
Kathy
what a sweet springtime vignette!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets a little distracted while housecleaning, and starts doing a little decorating instead! You've inspired me to get the three nests that I've found out of the garage and display them!
Happy WW!

Sweet little birdnest! Nothing like the real thing!
Sweet nest! I save my dryer lint and put in the field next door for the birds to collect for using to construct their nests - they seem to love it!

Hi
It all looks so clean and wonderful! lol
Always a good feeling after it is all done though. The nest is sweet and your vignette is wonderful.
Many Blessings

Oh my how much I love bird's nests! Your displays are so great! I'm crazy about the nest in the WEDGEWOOD plate! Enjoyed your post! Jacqueline
goodness! we do love that quote!!
Love your little nest - looks perfect, you deserved a break - for their is nothing worse than housework :)
Happy White Wednesday to you both!
I too have collected many nests that have fallen out of our bushes. Yesterday while I was out weeding I happened upon a humming bird. It was the neatest thing, it was gathering spider webbing to make it's nest. I have only seen their nests in pictures, but can you imagine that. I just thought I would share my story with you. Have a great day.
So cute and perfect. I find them in my yard too - most are lined with white hair from my German shepherd that sheds like crazy. That reminds me, I need to start cleaning house too:)
Isn't it amazing how creative birds are to make such beautiful nests? I think you have a collection started;)

What a wonderful little nest!
I am catching up on my Blog visiting since I am still stuck indoors recovering from this nasty pneumonia. I am on the mend though. I have missed you girls!

Che bel Nido! Happy WW Ciao Rita mammabellarte
I have to say that your "instant" vignette is pretty sassy and I'm liking it!! I too hate all the "ing's" that have to be done from time to time. I still have cake frosting lying around the house here and there from Morgan's b-day party!!
Take care, Sue
Love the pictures! The nests look wonderful grouped together. Thanks for sharing such a great collection!
xo xo,
Valerie
