The bad weather and the chilly nights we've been having
have kept me from working with anything summery or beachy...
Surprisingly, even though is July already, I found inspiration in a sweater...

How creative! That lampshade is downright adorable. I've thought that I would like to make some pillows out of old cable knit sweaters, but I don't know how to keep it from unraveling after I cut it. Would I machine stitch back and forth a few times? Any advice would be appreciated!
Happy WW!
Carol
Such an original idea and I love the vintage look you created! Adorable!
And what an awesome cheater you are. I do not believe you could buy yarn any cheaper than the price of the sweater. Happy WW! ♦olive
I love using sweaters for projects! I used to knit, but why would I want to do that anymore? I love these--especially the lampshade!

How adorable. I have used the sweaters for pillows but the shade is a new idea. Thank you for sharing. As for the tomato can cover, pure inspiration.

I love your blog~ I'm a new follower!
LOVE the lampshade!! How stinkin' creative are YOU!?!?!
How fun and beautiful they look. To think I picked up a cable sweater at a thrift shop for a couple of dollars and then put it back down unclear how I would upcycle it. Yours is great and I can't wait to see what you do with the other half.
These are neat projects! Love them.
