"A self portrait without using a portrait"
48 squares
1.5 in. X 1.5 in. each
No faces allowed.
That was our homework assignment last week.
How to let people know about me,
and what I like?
How to let people know
what inspires me
and what makes me feel alive?
48 squares.
Each one a little piece of my home.
A little piece of the place
where I am what I always wanted to be:
a wife and a mom.
I got those two right...
the rest is only gravy!

I love your collection you chose for your mosaic. Very cool!
You are: una moglie, una mamma, una sorella, un'artista! Mi gusta. Happy WW ciao Rita
I think you've summed yourself up pretty nicely, but wait....I think I see a little of myself mixed in there as well.
Great photos!

Wonderful mosaic. Thanks for sharing!!!
What a cool concept! I have been intrigued by a magazine ad that read something like 'make a room look like you without you in it'. Kinda the same idea.
Love it!
Susanne.
Such a clever idea..and all the tiles bound together by your choice of lovely creams and whites! I love it...

oooo ~ love it! Great job. I would just love to know how you did it. I see the mosaics often and have no clue how to start.
That really turned out beautifully! I've got one stuck in Picasa I'm trying to finish, just different colors. I hope it turns out half as nice as yours. Wonderful to see such a dedicated love for family and motherhood!
Happy WW!

Missy
