Thrifty Monday

My Trader Joe's bags were begging to be recycled...

and recycling I did...

Now, with the $7 per gift I saved between wrapping paper and card...

I can buy myself a bouquet of those gorgeous peonies they have for sale!...

Cheers to a great week!

I love your packages! They are like gifts themselves! My favorite is the all brown one with the sweet layered embellishment! I just may have to borrow your idea. And it's a good excuse to go back to Trader Joe's!

You always amaze me with the way that little creative mind of yours never, ever stops! I just bought myself a big bunch of sunflowers Saturday night from Trader Joes. I LOVE that store.

Take care, Sue

I did this same sort of thing with paper Ikea bags. :) Used the paperbag part to make gift paper. And then I used the handle to attach to my upcycled cereal boxes turned tote bags. :) Hope you are having a great week. Tammy

Wonderful! I just found out about Project Genesis and had to stop by and see everyone's ideas. Your wrapping is much more beautiful than anything found in a store and good for the environment on top of it!

I've never seen a grocery bag look so good! I had to do a double take and make sure that was really what you used!
Brilliant!

The gift bags look great. I like to make my own cards and sometimes wrap a gift in a new tea towel.
