Argentinian Passion

Husband was planning a big soccer celebration:
Argentina 2010 Soccer World Champions!

The German Team changed his plans.
Husband still is in "Soccer Suicidal Watch"

I hope he can snap out of it by tonight...

so we can celebrate Argentina's Independence Day.

On July 4th, our homes are dressed in Red, White and Blue.

On July 9th, they wear their best White and Light Blue, the Argentinian colors.

I'm hoping for some good empanadas tonight for a true
Argentinian Celebration!

Yumm!!!

Your poor husband, Marcela. I certainly thought of him (and you) when I heard that Argentina lost. However, they did get close. Have a great Argentinian celebration - those empanadas look SO delicious!

Hola Amiga!
Today I wore blue and white.
We went to an asada at our cousins.
We walked around Colegiales and ate Helado con Dulce de Leche and drank some very good Argentine Pinot Noir.
Muchas besos.. from BA to Ca :)

I don't think he'll recover by tonight. I think it's going to take a while longer. You guys should still be real proud of your country!
