White Wednesday

What is it about antique linens that we love so much?

Is it the cleanliness and purity they represent?

or the softness and craftsmanship used to make them?

Maybe it's their details that we are attracted to...

We are not sure what it is, but we know we can't pass them out!

For a lot more inexplicable "white love", visit Faded Charm!

It's defintiley the softness...and the the craftmanship...the hours put into something so simple. Those monograms are just perfect! Had to laugh at the junkin' in your garage...that's where I'm gonna be too as the junking season is pretty much over here...same thing here with the thrift stores...not much there and too expensive. That's why I haven't paticipated in your Junkin' Mondays...wish I could though.
Have a good day,
Rene'

I think it's the "purity" of fresh linens that attracts us. The freshness of them always pulls us in! Take care Marcela.

Hello,

Thanks for leaving a message on my blog. I also adore vintage linen and have had a lot of fun sourcing for some fellow kiwis who are having a market stall at a french market being held in New Zealand in a couple of weeks time.

i have some of these whi te linens too - my twins names both start with "m" so we used the monogram "m"'s from the pillowcases on pockets of little baptism sweaters that were made for them -- such keepsakes!
