It's defintiley the softness...and the the craftmanship...the hours put into something so simple. Those monograms are just perfect! Had to laugh at the junkin' in your garage...that's where I'm gonna be too as the junking season is pretty much over here...same thing here with the thrift stores...not much there and too expensive. That's why I haven't paticipated in your Junkin' Mondays...wish I could though. Have a good day, Rene'
Oh girl, for me, it's definately all of the above, and I sure am loving your linens....gorgeous! I can never pass those linens up either...I absolutely adore them!
Thanks for leaving a message on my blog. I also adore vintage linen and have had a lot of fun sourcing for some fellow kiwis who are having a market stall at a french market being held in New Zealand in a couple of weeks time. A bientot,
i have some of these whi te linens too - my twins names both start with "m" so we used the monogram "m"'s from the pillowcases on pockets of little baptism sweaters that were made for them -- such keepsakes!
We share a passion for all things old, cottage and chic! After 10 years of retailing, we have closed our San Clemente store but you can find us now at our Space in Country Roads, Orange, CA (Space #135)
We are constantly shopping for vintage and antique treasures: ironstone, china, linens, accessories and small pieces of furniture that we can rescue and give a new life to, so don't be surprised to see at the Flea Market on Sundays mornings!
Thank you for visiting us,
Clara & Marcela

I think it's the "purity" of fresh linens that attracts us. The freshness of them always pulls us in! Take care Marcela.
These are so beautiful, and those initials...aaahhh.
Beautiful! I have a few heirlooms, and the linens are very special to me for all the same reasons that you've shared.
Enjoy your day,
Zuzu
