What would we do...

without paint???

Well, for example, we would have a sturdy-oak-round

pedestal-boring table....

Instead of a fab-chic-stylish

gotta-have-it table!!

Isn't paint wonderful?

Love it! I'm looking for a pedestal to do this exact transfromation on.

Ooooooooo, love it! I was expecting to see the table painted white! The black is GORGEOUS! Well done!

I found a table similar to this and had the Commander paint mine white. I just showed this to the Commander and he looked at me and said "I am not painting that table again...don't get any ideas..."....lol

I am going junkin' tomorrow so I am a happy girl :)

Love to you both,

We "inherited" a table like this that had been cut down to make a great coffee table. I'd seen one done white in a magazine article. It looked wonderful, and I had not thought of paint on it. Right now it's in the garage with tons of other goodies stacked on it. Yours is great, love it!

Ahh...yes, paint is wonderful! Great job ladies. I finally have some photos of Papa's hand-painted frescoes from the Cathedrals of Southern Italy. Come see the photos; you'll be glad you did.

Thank you for showing me this gorgeous pedestal table! I've been looking for one my whole life!
I also have a white dining table I am considering painting black when I move to my new house. I would love to know what kind of paint you used and how you got such an awesome finish and sheen.
Take care! I'll be reading you!

It looks so much better black! I know oak is a great wood, but I prefer it painted. :) Good choice. You should post this to my Furniture Feature Friday link party this week (sorry for the plug.) Hope to see you there!
