Of finished projects....

Busy, busy week!!...
And hopefully full of transformations as we need to get ready for our Friday Sale at La Maison Rustique and a Customer's Family Room Makeover.

So here are the first two projects we finished today:
Vintage tray transformed into an adorable blackboard.

Displayed on an easel and surrounded by very stylish pumpkins, our simple project helps the family know what's for dinner tonight!

We love the vintage feel from the silver "frame"...

Our second transformation of the day involves a couple of stools...

nothing wrong with them...
but they were very predictable and too "Tommy Bahamas" for the look we are going for...
a couple of yards of yummy goldish chenille later ...

...and the same stools are ready to show a much needed updated look...
They will look fab in the room , you'll see...stay tuned!

Thank you for reminding me that I want to tackle making my own blackboards. Yours looks great! And I love the chenille, I think chenille makes anything look better.
Have a great Tuesday,

Your projects look fabulous!! I always love these black board ideas when I see them, especially trays since we're always picking up oodles of them, but I'm always afraid I'm going to make a mess of it, maybe today I'll give it a go!

I can just imagine what kind of wonderfulness you're going to do to that Family Room, can't wait to see the update!

Have a great day Clara and Marcella!

Thanks for the comment on my blog.

I love the chalkboard tray! I have a small silver chalkboard tray hanging in my kitchen window. I like how yours was used to post the daily dinner menu.

K, so I won't tell you where my brain went as I read your description on Kimba's McLinky...but let's just say I was ever-so-grateful to see chenille instead of, say, porcelain.
