Frugal Friday

There is a Frugal Friday Party at "The Shabby Nest" today and the tittle alone moved us to participate...Frugal and Friday...music to our ears!!!

Here's how we turned regular, plain kitchen cabinets in an almost custom-built in-furniture look.
Sorry we don't have the before pictures....

Before painting the cabinets...we added 2 wood cut-outs from Lowe's at $3.50 each...

...a piece of bead board to fit on the back, behind the little shelf $5.00...

...and a couple of wrought iron brackets for $12.00 found in an antique store.

Here's the final product...

A clean, fresh, cottage look for just a little money and some elbow grease!

Wow!
Great job
It's amazing what white paint can do. I say, paint anything white and it always looks good.
Have a great day!
Thanks for visiting

Cottage is not so much my style, but your kitchen is breathtaking. It looks like a million bucks.

Awesome re-do. Thanks for sharing. Now if I could only talk my landlord into allowing me to paint my cupboards. ♥
