There is a Frugal Friday Party at "The Shabby Nest" today and the tittle alone moved us to participate...Frugal and Friday...music to our ears!!!
Here's how we turned regular, plain kitchen cabinets in an almost custom-built in-furniture look.

Before painting the cabinets...we added 2 wood cut-outs from Lowe's at $3.50 each...
...a piece of bead board to fit on the back, behind the little shelf $5.00...
...and a couple of wrought iron brackets for $12.00 found in an antique store.
Here's the final product...
