Room Makeover

We are finally ready to share with you our last Room Makeover!...
But first let us show you how the old oak table we were working with, looked...
Paint, marker, glitter and glue...let's make it TONS of glue! were sanded off in order to reuse this table....

Let's now fast forward to Friday morning, 9:30 to be precise....
This was Sheryll's house when we got there:

Freshly painted but empty walls...boring windows....

Lots of nick-knacks waiting to be displayed (or not)...sometimes is not about buying, it's about editing...

Tired sofas and furniture in need of some color...

And here comes the fun part!!!...This is what Sheryll found when she came home at 12:15 pm:

Boring window no more!!!

A couple of panels with coordinated material for softness and an iron piece for architectural interest...

Believe it or not, this is the same oak table! A dark stain and lots of bee wax did the trick!!!

Remember the fabrics we bought? They were used to make beautiful pillows...

And recover the footstool...you can check the transformation of this piece Here...

Of course we added a little white...

And displayed the Family Favorites to give them a room they will be proud to come home to!

and all of this for $........
No, we will not tell you how little we spent because you will never believe it!!!
