...was always the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ with friends...
...display some vintage iron furniture....
and cool off in a hot Summer afternoon...
Now its all that, plus the perfect place to find some interesting shadows!

If you have read this blog before, you probably noticed that we have a fascination with quotes.... Sometime ago, I came across this one:
I found it during a very special time for my family and specially for my son M...he needed to make decisions about college, where, when, how much? The more pressure he felt at school, the more sense that quote made to me...
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished"
Since then, I have used that quote many times around the house, with my kids, my Husband and myself...
That quote made me think that sometimes we concentrate so hard in the blurry details...
that we forget the rest of the picture....
And because I have the hint that I'm not the only one that can find some truth in that quote, is that I'm sharing it with you... Hope we can all take our time and enjoy the ride... because in the big picture of life what really matters ...it's the journey, not how fast we get to our destination!
Wednesday's the day we partner up with Kathleen at Faded Charm to share our passion for all things white, and today is not exception... Our heart skips a beat today for antique and vintage white wicker ...
We not only love it because it can be kept and enjoyed outdoors....
We also love it because wicker lends its "eternal Summer" feel when displayed indoors...
and because antique wicker desks are small and light enough to fill favorite spots in family rooms...
...or bedrooms
and because wicker accessories work hard...
...holding lots of stuff...
and because they look so delightfully cottage!!
Have a great Wednesday, and don't forget to visit Kathleen and all the other bloggers sharing a white passion...
We share a passion for all things old, cottage and chic! After 10 years of retailing, we have closed our San Clemente store but you can find us now at our Space in Country Roads, Orange, CA (Space #135)
We are constantly shopping for vintage and antique treasures: ironstone, china, linens, accessories and small pieces of furniture that we can rescue and give a new life to, so don't be surprised to see at the Flea Market on Sundays mornings!
Thank you for visiting us,
Clara & Marcela
