White Wednesday

I heard the noise last night,
but was too tired to check what was going on.


This morning,
I knew something was quite not the same.
My work table looked different....
the pile of books,
the ones waiting to be used...

they seemed to have moved during the night....

as I got closer, I saw them...

undeniable signs that the girls had taken over my books!

Sexy,
charming,
vintage,
French girls...

with an attitude!!

Almost like all the ones that participate in White Wednesday every week!

Small businesses...Big dreams...

The work table has been messy lately.
Glitter, lace, stamps,

Buttons, vintage jewelry and postcards....

An order of altered books is being sent to a new store, new for us, that is.

Another store carrying our stuff is "The Cottage" in Laguna Beach
The girls at the Cottage have been selling lots of altered books and are now carrying our pillow covers....

We came up with some exclusive designs for this wonderful store...

and vintage Laguna postcards perfect for tourists looking to take home a little California fun..

A nice,

relaxing walk through Laguna Beach with my Husband was all I needed to finish the order of altered books for the Cottage.

The beach was packed during the sunny, bright Valentine's afternoon.
We had coffee, enjoyed a great beach volleyball game, walked a lot and finished it off with the best seafood tacos at Loco Taco on PCH.

I felt like...

I felt so inspired that I even have enough creative juices for more altered books:
one going to Texas, another one going to France...

and tons of little crowns also ready to be delivered.

That was one very inspiring afternoon!

Burlap chic-ness!
