Welcome! While looking at some pictures from our trip to China, I found some shadows that I had not noticed before....
Shadows at the Summer Palace....
Shadows in the little town of Suzhou...
and some shadows at the magnificent Wall of China...
Since I started participating in Shadow Shot Sunday, hosted by Hey Harriet!, I started to look at objects and pictures! a little different...you might want to give it a try...it's fun!
...was always the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ with friends...
...display some vintage iron furniture....
and cool off in a hot Summer afternoon...
Now its all that, plus the perfect place to find some interesting shadows!
"I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it" ~Author Unknown~
Today I can't take any credit for the photographs I'm posting...
They were taken by M, my 18 year old son, for a school project a couple of years ago.
I thought they could work for a SSS post... M has been in England for 2 weeks now and I'm missing him a lot...I could send him an email and tell him to check this post, but...he's 18, he's with friends and this is the first time out of the country without the rest of the family.... I don't think he has time for blogging!!!

Now, hurry up to Hey Harriet! and be inspired by some very talented photographers from all over the world!
The girls from The Summer Kitchen Journal have been inspiring me every Sunday with their Sunday's Shadows Posts, so much really, that I decided to join in today.
This fun Sunday activity is hosted by Hey Harriet! and by visiting her lovely blog you get to admire and be inspired by some wonderful photography. I love Harriet's idea because it represents exactly what I like best about blogging: it makes you look high and low to capture a simple image, a simple idea, sometimes just waiting for you on a shelf!. Thank you, Kerrie, Karla and Harriet for the inspiration!
We share a passion for all things old, cottage and chic! After 10 years of retailing, we have closed our San Clemente store but you can find us now at our Space in Country Roads, Orange, CA (Space #135)
We are constantly shopping for vintage and antique treasures: ironstone, china, linens, accessories and small pieces of furniture that we can rescue and give a new life to, so don't be surprised to see at the Flea Market on Sundays mornings!
Thank you for visiting us,
Clara & Marcela
