Inspiring words...

"Use the talents you possess ...

for the woods would be a very silent place
if no birds sang except for the best."

~Henry Van Dyke~

That was my inspiration
when I decided to recover
an old, ugly lampshade.

I hope they will also inspire you
to create something pretty today!

Burlap chic-ness!

Welcome ! If you are visiting from Kimba's blog and you are a newbie to our place, we hope you are inspired enough to come back!!

A little burlap goes a long way here at Nice & Easy...Do you remember this chair?..it's OK, go check it out and come back soon, in the meantime we'll fill up our coffee mugs...

Oh! you are back already, good!...anyway, with the leftover burlap we decided to cover a lampshade "skeleton" we purchased some time back...

Looking good, just a little plain...

Ahhh...perfect!!

We love our new French stamps.... found at only $1.00 in the clearance bin, they added just enough to our new shade! This beauty will make its way to the store pretty soon, if we can give it up, that is...

Our last burlap creation is this set of recovered vintage books

Priced at only $12.00 each set and available HERE...

they are finished with a black ribbon and you can even pick your own tag...different number, an initial, bird... the choice is yours, just let us know!

A totally cute and green gift for yourself or a fave on your list!
