I'm back!

My Getting-Ready-For-Finals time came to a stop yesterday afternoon.

When my little brain just couldn't get any more
colors,
lines,
measurements
and mistakes!
I decided to give my little brain a little break...

No, I didn't read...

because when my little brain
needs a break,
my hands get to work....

So I used the leftover sweater featured HERE
to make this cute pillow
just so I didn't have to miss another
White Wednesday!

I feel much better now!

I have seen several posts now where old sweaters are being put to better use. Love the idea and yours is so pretty.

What an adorable little pillow. I love how it has a pocket to stick something inside.

Hope you take some time to relax.

Take care,

I remember when I was in school for my Masters degree. By the end of the semester my brain could not absorb any more information. I laid on the sofa for a week and just watched television. I don't think I remembered anything I watched.

I love the pillow and the lampshade too. I have several sweaters awaiting the pillow fate. So far I have only made black ones for the fall but I will be making the white ones for the Christmas holidays. I love the little pocket, that is my favorite.

Me Again ~ btw, to answer your question..... I had taken My wedding dress apart, was originally going to use it to make Christening gowns for My Babes, but family tradition had them all Baptized in My Grandmothers Gown from 1900 ~ anyway, some how the Dress was in a bag & the bag some how was lost, but so Happy to still have the Lace, I have used it in some Special Creative Projects..... Unfortunately the Marriage did Not last, but still Love the Lace!

How perfect....and we just LOVE the other things you made with the rest of the sweater!! What will you come up with next (whatever it is...we can't wait!!)

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. If I attempted a sweater pillow, my brain would be on overload since I don't sew at all. It turned out so beautifully.

So many ideas to be found at Anthropology -- things that can definitely be done much cheaper than what they are selling them for.

I don't do malls either, but am so glad I stumbled upon a store I'd read so much about.

Hope you are having a great day! Best wishes, Tammy
