The tale of the Ikea Sofas...

The Ikea sofas looked very good.

They were priced right.

They were slipcovered, perfect for a family!

They fit the family room perfectly.

BUT
The Ikea sofas were NOT comfortable.

THAT'S WHY
After just a few months Clara moved the Ikea sofas to the Living Room...
yeap, the room that nobody uses...

Before...

and After...

The Family Room has new, comfy sofas.
We will show pictures as soon as we can get Clara's Husband off them!!!

They sure do look good in the living room! How ironic because a friend of mine here in Kuwait had those sofas in a different color and she didn't think they were comfy either, but I thought they were just fine. Of course, I was only ever visiting -- maybe sitting on them all the time would not be comfortable. Have a great day! :) Tammy

That living room is gorgeous! I adore the coffee table - it is tdf fabulous! p.s. my mom didn't like our big, expensive, down-filled couch so it's at the farmhouse, and the ikea couch is in our living room now too!

I like 'em better in there, anyway! Love that glass top table.

Clara's living room rocks! I love the cabinet and architectural pieces. Of course, I'm always drawn to the old, chippy paint!
Take care, Sue

A gorgeous living room.....I have the IKEA couches as well and found a perfect solution to the comfort thing. I use the couch base, but use different cushions (that still fit the slip covers) that are stuffed with a much more comfy filling.
Happy day.

I love the room's new look! I actually like Ikea sofas. We have two because we have two toddler boys so the price was right and who cares what they spill on them! =)
