Why not?

An old, shabby, very weathered door found in a junk pile

became the perfect background for a glamorous candelabra...

and its gorgeous crystals...

Opposites once again attract
and look good while doing it!

Follow no rules, only your instincts
A little unexpected goes a long way...

Years ago I was looking through a French decorating book, reading how generations of family furnishings were mixed together - the elegant with the rustic. Ever since then, I have done the same. :) Love the look of your door and candelabra!

Have a beautiful day,

Love it!! I found a great soft pink old door once years ago for a great price and I'm still kicking myself for not buying it~ especially when I see them used in such pretty ways!
