Shadow Shot Sunday

A sunny Saturday afternoon,

an old screen door,

one of the few plants that survives my lack of gardening talent...

and that precious moment when we stop, look and capture shadows!

"Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open"
~John Barrymore

Love your delicate, beautiful shadow shots, the soft colors! And that is one of my favorite quotes! Thanks for sharing the beauty!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Lovely shadows, excellent composition. I like how you used the window as a frame!

"Moonlight becomes you" is my contribution!

I ALWAYS love your quotes! They are the best. I'm dead to the world right now. We had such an unbelievable busy day, I'm still shocked by the numbers. Hope it continues and thanks for the great pixs, I love them. Take care.

Hey, throw us Northerners a bone...any shots of the sun is appreciated, though it's supposed to reach mid 70's today, I'm holding my breath that it will last a bit longer...like mid-March...I know, a dream...so I'll dream, of sunny California!!!

What a beautiful maiden hair fern....it reminds me of my childhood. My mother had a great one. I can't seem to grow them. Jane : )

One of the best shots so far I know this week-end.

All are well taken. Seems the plants wants to share something to us to know, aren't they

Loving it!

Ooooh, I *love* shadows projected onto screens! These are terrific!

It reminds me -- I have a shower curtain shadow to capture one of these mornings.

What wonderful shadows you've captured through the screen! I don't know the actual NAME of the fern in your last 3 photos, but I have the same one in MY yard ... transplanted from the home where I grew up because it reminds me of my father ;-)
