The road to our new adventure...

The first time we visited Country Roads about eight years ago, we thought we had died and gone to Shabby Heaven...
Full of wonderful architectural pieces, 2DIE4 white chippy furniture, out of this world displays and tons of rusted to perfection garden furniture, Sue's store became right away our favorite place to shop .

With time, we fantasied with the idea of having a space there but it seemed like it was never the right time...
busy with our own store...
not the right space available...
not enough merchandise...
the economy sucks....
you know, just life!

But a few weeks back, we decided: no more excuses and let's give it a try...
We are going for a farm-chic look...

a little bit of country...

a little bit of gold...

some altered pieces....

lots of vintage findings ....

and our favorite whites!

It's a small space, but we hope to make it big in charm...

stop by and visit our new adventure...

Ask for Space #135 and the cool girls from Country Roads will show you the way!

We hope this is a white enough post, because today is White Wednesday!

Thank you for ALL the nice commments. Please know myself and ALL of my Country Roads family are so happy to have you join our "little" family! Things looked awesome when I left work yesterday, and the pictures just blew me away. I love where you are at in the store, with the old brick backdrop! Again, thanks for being a part of Country Roads! Take care.

Wonderful! You two will have a blast I'm sure. And I can't wait to see all the great "junk" you will be showcasing there. Country Roads is a continual feast for the eyes!

I love the look and so happy that you are taking the plunge...I think you will find great success because for some reason your industry is still active. Be fair on pricing and things will keep moving out the door. Now again if I only lived closer to visit.

Regarding my experience...you might be surprised at what I walked away with. Not sure if I would do it again...not the "hunny", "sweetie" kind of gal.

Should have the post up tomorrow...trying to temper and stay with the positive.

Say tuned...and congrats on your big adventure...nothing ventured nothing gained.

Love
Janet

Marcel and Clara, your new space looks absolutely fantastic! I love everything you have there and I'm sure it's going to be a big success. Just the right thing for you, minus the pressure and stress that comes with shop-owning. p.s. what is that fabulous flowery box-like thing? Is it metal? It looks amazing!
