Vintage furniture looking for a new life:
Paint
the cheapest, easiest and fastest way to achieve a new look
and Words
because of their inspirational power.
It's around the kitchen table that we unravel our plans, share our worries and free our dreams.
It's around the kitchen table that families are born and nourished.
No TV. No phone calls. No texting. No computers allowed.
Tonight, take a few more minutes around the kitchen table and...

Awwww. I like that! Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, I would have cringed at painting something wood, but some things just need paint, don't they? Yours turned out lovely.
I love the way that looks. Such a great paint job. I want to go all shabby chic but HH says he loves mid century style. Hummmmmmm a room for him and a room for me???
Perfect, just perfect! I love the paint and the words!!!
OHHHH that is so fantastic! LOVE the words! Just what i needed to see today to recharge my battery!!
you both are such a blessing, thank you for your sweetest comment,

Hi
What a great post! Love what you did to the table, it needed it but I love the message even more. It is a shame that families have gotten away from eating together, there is something truely wrong there.
Blessings
Oh WOW that is so cute! I love it. You did a good job and love the wording around the table.
love it. love the wording. specially the font :O)

Great vintage table redo!
This table turned out fabulous. I love the saying. Hope you gals are staying dry today.
Take care,
Kathleen
I'm thinkin' that more people need to do just what you are talking about here and spend more time together around a beautiful table just like this. Some things never go out of fashion.
I love the table and the words!
hugs
The perfect table with the perfect words, love 'em!
Take care, Sue
Lovely - the table & the quote :)
It is so nice sometimes just to turn off everything and turn your attention on your loved ones isn't it! We hold those times dear to our hearts!
What a pretty blog! Thank you for stopping by. I love the thought of words on the furniture. I'm a believer in painting furniture, not the perfect ones, then if you want to, why no? Seen dated, ugly pieces in a new light. Keep on doing, it's good. BLessings, Marta.
I absolutely LOVE what you did with the table! It went from blah to stunning!
Well done!
Have a great Thursday,
Anne
I love how you left the wood tones combined with the white...fabulous! I want to use some of those words somewhere in my home. That can be my new latest project. :)
Wonderful, brilliant and lovely all rolled into one sweet family kitchen table!
I love the words! They are spaced and done so well. Mine never turn out like that. LOL! Kudos to you!
Love the paint job!! And the phrase you used!
Love it! I have a very similar table that needs something done to it....I think I just saw the answer.
