Mellow Yellow Friday...

Friday is here and the excitement of the weekend puts us in a "yellow mood"...

Why yellow?..

Because...

Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment and happiness ,carrying the promise of a positive future.

Yellow encourages communication and sparks creative thoughts....activates the memory and stimulates the nervous system. Seriously!!!
And if all those were not good enough reasons to be in a yellow mood...

yellow looks fab mixed with whites, blacks, grays and blues so it wasn't hard to find it in our own homes....

We found it on a corner chandelier....

and on the outdoor candelabra...

...the mismatched chairs around the kitchen table...

and on peeling frames and oil paintings....

We found it on comfy pillows...

and under a glass cloche...

Yes, this is a Yellow Mellow Friday,
full of wonderful possibilities...
full of good things to come
just like the yellow pretties we found inside the "Holiday's Cabinet" where little props wait patiently to be displayed once again....
