White Wednesday

I don't know if it was
the Christmas music at the mall,
the Christmas commercials every 2 seconds,
my fellow Dealers at Country Roads
or the wonderfully Christmas decorated blogs I visit
that have pressured inspired me
to start working in my Christmas merchandise
waaaayyyyy earlier this year....

I spent a couple of mornings
working on these stockings
and I'm really happy
with the way they turned out...

I ran out of the vintage white wool
I used to make them,
but I'm in the look out for some more!

I love this kind of projects
that I can do while watching TV.
A good movie, a basketball game,
cute supplies and I'm a happy girl!

UPDATE:
Yesterday morning went to Country Roads
to work on my Christmas display.
The stockings never got out of the box,
a sweet customer bought them all...
even the ones I haven't shown you gals yet!!!

(Too bad you can't see my happy dance....)

It really is the ultimate reward when someone loves so much, something that you have made and is an outpouring of yourself that they simply have to have it. It is, to me, kind of a vindication of sorts, it's like "See, what I'm doing is something worthwhile."

They are simply lovely!
Talk to you soon!
