Still purging...

My downstairs closet received a
very needed purging...

As a result,
I reunited with this yummy fabric
that I absolutely love...

Just the perfect companion
for a little burlap...

and just enough to cover an old ottoman...

I took it to my space
and somehow I find myself smiling
every time I go back and realize
the ottoman hasn't sold...
I really like how it looks in my house
but I know I can't keep it...

Now, if it doesn't sell...
then...it's different
because at least I tried!
LOL!!

Your so right, a very yummy fabric! Here's hoping it doesn't sell so you can keep it! LOL

Oh I can see why you want to keep that one.

When that happens to me I price the item high in hopes that it won't sell. Then if it does, I don't feel so bad. Silly but true!

That fabric is gorgeous. If I had anything blue in my house I would buy it, so at least for now, it's safe.

I've been in the "purging" mode as well. Actually kept a little space in the middle store to bring my "stuff" in. I've just got too much of everything. My assistant, Bryce, was "supposed" to be working on that. I found out he hasn't, not too happy on that one! Love that fabric, and I'm pretty sure it will sell!!

Take care, Sue

That turned out so cute! It does look great with the burlap! Now you're making me want to get my new sewing machine out and get my Mom over here to teach me to sew!
PS Thanks for visiting for WW. I have heard soccer is a HUGE commitment. I'm sure you've enjoyed the time supporting your kids but how nice for it to be over too! ha-ha! My girls are in dance and every year after their HUGE recital (that I really do enjoy), I am soooo glad it's over.
Well, I hope to meet you at Christie's if you can swing it!
Have a blessed day!

Love your ottoman and I cannot believe it hasn't sold. It will soon.

Happens to me all the time, I want to keep something and know that I can't, so I price it higher and if it sells, I'm happy.

That is gorgeous! If there's any fabric hanging around that you're not happily reunited with, I know of a good home... ;)
