Rainy California

Clara found this very cute dresser full of possibilities.
$40.00 and big plans for it!

Nice drawer pulls,
Nice legs,
Nice details.

Until the rain came.

The cute dresser was in the back of the truck.
The truck that does not fit in the garage.

Do I need to say more???

Recycling? Yes!
Miracles...no!

This is what is left of the cute little dresser...

This is all I have to make my $40.00 back...
Wish me luck!!!

And they say that it doesn't rain in California!!

Luckily...

Oh no my heart sank as I read about the rain! Although what I have learned from reading your posts is that you are a miracle maker when it comes to re-purposing...you can re-purpose like no one else I know! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Oh no! That is so sad! However, I KNOW you can definitely come up with something out of what is left! :)

I am a little new to your blog, but love what I have seen! I was inspired by the adorable message board you made and then linked up to Wendy's Frugal Friday late in March. I did something similar and am linking to both your and Wendy's blog! :) Just wanted to let you know! Oh, and I LOVE the little lampshade you made with the bird on it. (It is the one in the picture of your message board and on your sidebar.)

Blessings,
Jenni

I am sorry your dresser was reduced to a couple of pieces. I thought you would be able to take off the veneer, a little glue, sanding and a whole lot of paint and no one would know. Good luck.

I have no doubt that you will do something totally unique and fabulous with the bits and pieces of the dresser you were able to salvage! Love your White Wednesday posting. And those Postcard Pillow Covers are gorgeous! We are expecting rain and/or dust today, tomorrow. One just never knows. Have a fabulous week and thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. :) Tammy

What a bummer! I've had a few pieces experience the same fate and it's all about creativity (and we all know you're blessed with a ton of it!). I look forward to seeing the masterpieces that will come from that poor little pile of dresser scraps!
