Busy morning...

My Wednesday didn't start very well...

My Daughter needed to be in school earlier that usual...(we are not a morning family)
My Husband asked me to take her...(not my job)
I mumbled some bad words in Spanish (don't know why, everybody understands Spanish in this house) and accepted.

Not before checking out my White Wednesdays Girls.

And...HELLO!!...there is Joan from Anything Goes Here brightening up my day with her French Eggs.
Pure Inspiration.

On my way from the school, still in my pajama bottoms, I stopped at Walmart and came home with these...

and by 9:30 am in the morning I have made these for my house...

and these for the Country Roads space...

It was 9:30 in the morning and I had not had any breakfast, the beds were not made and the laundry and my morning shower were waiting, but sometimes you have to be flexible in order to have some fun.

Thank you for the inspiration Joan!!

These are wonderful!!! I wanted to make some Nordic-style Easter eggs, but thought (silly me) that I would first need to drive an hour down the mountains to the city to purchase paper mache eggs.
But yours turned out gorgeous, and I can easily purchase the plastic eggs in town (only a half-hour drive). :)
Thank you, and I hope you have a beauty-filled day!

Now you have inspired me to make some of these. Hey as long as you have something on your feet (sometimes I leave barefoot and want to stop at the grocery store on the way back but dont since I have no shoes on) flannels and a sweatshirt work for me. Housework always comes last here!!

Is this similar to the HGTV video on making this paper eggs? I am a not the craftiest person so it takes some time to learn this stuf. I have an old Peter Rabbit childrens book that I had wanted to stain with coffee or tea and make these eggs. Any suggestions? Do you have a tutorial? Thanks

Are you not a morning person b/c you stay up late reading blog posts like me. When we moved here and the told me school started at 7:30 here, we all could have died. The only good thing, is my husband can drop her out @ that time. Maybe I should learn Spanish! Does that help? :) Cute eggs.
