Sometime ago, I came across this one:

I found it during a very special time for my family and specially for my son M...he needed to make decisions about college, where, when, how much?The more pressure he felt at school, the more sense that quote made to me...
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished"
Since then, I have used that quote many times around the house, with my kids, my Husband and myself...
That quote made me think that sometimes we concentrate so hard in the blurry details...
that we forget the rest of the picture....
And because I have the hint that I'm not the only one that can find some truth in that quote, is that I'm sharing it with you...Hope we can all take our time and enjoy the ride...
because in the big picture of life what really matters ...it's the journey, not how fast we get to our destination!

I am so glad you posted this quote because I have been futzing around trying to make faux mini cupcakes the last 2 days and they have all looked like crap until this afternoon when I "slowed down" and took my time :) It worked.

Beautiful post, reminds us all of the crazy world we live in and to just slow down. My favorite little saying I keep in my head, is when my little Riley looked at me one day with her big blue eyes and said, "can I help Gramma".
